Jet2 holidays customer service

Does anyone out there know the phone number of Jet2 Holidays customer service it appears to be a closely guarded secret, or maybe they just don't want to hear any complaints from disgruntled customers and prefer to ignore e mails instead. Ta

Maybe I'm missing something but there are phone-numbers listed on their website: http://www.jet2holidays.com/contact-us.aspx

I'm guessing those are not what you're looking for?

What are the hidden extras you're disputing? When you go through the booking process with Jet2Holidays you are shown a summary of charges involved before making a payment. Once you've confirmed there should be no extra charges unless you've made changes to your booking.

At the time of booking they will take payment of either a deposit of £60 per person, or if you're travelling within 8 weeks (IIRC) they will take full payment.

Have you tried Pre Travel Services - 0800 408 5597?

Got to agree with sunmagic. Jet2 website is usually pretty clear on pricing.

Like you we needed to contact jet2 from lanzarote about items stolen from suitcase and damage it was harder than trying to contact the pope, even family in england tried for us,all you get if you do get through is a call centre in india who have little knowledge of jet2 procedure so much for budget airlines

This airline is harder to contact with problems than the pope, we had our suitcase broken into at manchester airport during a flight to lanzarote we tried for 4 days to contact jet2 and also the tourist board inthe resort tried for us but couldnt get through either, when we got home we tried for a further 3 days finally got through to a call centre in india,

No need to post three times!

Your first port of call should have been at the baggage handling agents at Lanzarote airport to report the damage to your suitcases. It is very difficult to prove fault once you've left the airport.

This is clearly stated on the Jet2 website, it was the first link that appeared when I googled 'jet2 damaged luggage'.

jet2.com/content/…baggage_EN.html

Additionally the theft could have happened at Lanzarote airport just as easily as at Manchester.

Hi,

italylovermal...,

Wholly agree with GeordieEngine..,

When it comes to baggage issues--- delayed, damage, etc.. Your very FIRST contact really should be to the airline (or their chosen ground handling agent) ASAP

Most carriers have convents in their Contract of Carriage that says if you don't file a proper written report with the airline-- called a Property Irregularity Report-- of the alleged pilferage, damage etc, within a specified period of time (commonly that's 24hrs to as much as a few days tops) they then have the right to deny any future claims-- regardless of later proven merit.
