Well, specifically for the Asia Market.
I spent too much time in the wee hours this morning trying to book tickets from ORD-BKK on AA.com. I picked an E Saver fare and went through putting all the info on Passengers X3, TSA info, seats, CC info, ticketing option, and carried the process out even to the "click FINISH". ONLY THEN did the red warning came up saying that the fare chosen is no longer available. Please select another.
So I repeated again to next low fare price. Got to the end and same error message. And another, and another. Utterly Mad. Guess I was both hopeful and dumb. But finally my patience wore out. I gave up and went over to UA/CO.
To be fair I haven't had this problem with AA domestic bookings, and I think European ticketing process was not this bad. But the whole Asia destination pricing and ticketing thing seemed rather chaotic and inaccurate. I am not sure why. For a moment I thought I was dealing with Orbitz or Expedia!
So BEWARE: DON"T EVER USE AA.COM!!!!!!!
And all of you out there who work for web AA.com, what's your excuse and explanation, eh? Dare to blame me for your ineptitude? go ahead, make my day.
