Has anyone flown on an Embraer 190?

Taking a trip this spring from Philadelphia to turks and Caicos and have a 3 hour flight booked to Provo. The plane is a Embrear 190......I've never heard of Embrear. Has anyone ever flown on this type of aircraft?

Thank you.

I fly a lot with Flybe and they use Embraer, although I think they are Embraer 195. If it's any use, they are quite small planes, seating about 120 with 2 seats on either side. Not the best legroom, but then not too bad either for a short flight.

Air Canada uses Embraer on some regional flights...so I probably have.

They are made in Brazil. Small but OK.

Yes I've flown on one (KLM). Nothing to worry about, fairly new plane that i felt was light and airy inside.

Yes I've used this aircraft before on BA CityFlyer. JetBlue uses them quite a bit as well. Very nice aircraft used for routes needing 100 or so seats per flight.

OK - Air Canada uses the 175. Not sure about the 190.

They're quite common among a number of airlines. Here in the US, the Embraer (a Brazilian company) are used mostly as regional jets and more commonly referred to as ERJ's.

I like the Embraer jets, relatively quiet medium ranged jet engine. No long wait for baggage due to the size of the aircraft. Like Annabelle, I have travelled with Flybe as well, goods flights with no problems.

I have just booked a Flybe flight today for one of my holidays next year (to Milan) flying on a Embraer 195. Have a good flight!

British Airways use ERJ-190 between Edinburgh and London City after dumping the uncomfortable RJ-100's. Excellent plane, seating 2 and 2, quiet and reliable. I like them a lot

JetBlue uses Embraer 190.

Its OK. Less overhead storage

Carry-on Baggage Size Restrictions

(note from ME: I would never carry a 24" on board. I wouldnt want to lift a fully loaded case overhead.

E190: 24 inches (60.96 centimeters) length x 16 inches (40.64 centimeters) width x 10 inches (25.4 centimeters) height

Under the seat: 18 inches (45.72 centimeters) length x 15 inches (38.1 centimeters) width x 8 inches (20.3 centimeters) height

I've flown them previously - legroom is not significantly different from larger planes in economy.

The only potential issue is the lack of space for carry on - fine for short hail flights.
