Jet 2 different variants of 737

The seating plan for the Manchester-Pisa (and return) flight on a Friday -LS883 and LS884 shows 26 rows of seats which suggests it's operated by a 737-300 but on a Tuesday it's 33 rows of seats which suggests a 737-800. Would that be because passenger numbers are expected to be higher on a Tuesday/lower on a Friday, or is it just easier for scheduling?

Unable to really say without access to Jet2's passenger figures. Could be either one really. Jet2 have only had the -800 variants in their fleet for around a year or so.

Having now been to Pisa and back the Tuesday loading was too high for a 737-300. However, I don't know if that's because Tuesday is really a popular day or because Jet2 offer more low fares on the Tuesday flights.

Internally the 737-300 and 737-800s with Jet2 have been refurbished to be almost identical, the only obvious differences are more seats/overhead luggage space and different more modern light/air conditioning fittings on the 737-800s.

Out of interest does anyone know what Jet2 use their 757s for, apart from the Christmas shopping trips to New York?

Jet2 use 757's to Lanzarote (or have done when I've flown with them).

The 757's are used on routes to the Canaries mainly. Although I did fly on one to Palma but that was when they had fewer routes to the Canaries.
