Virgin meals

Hi. How many meals do you receive on a Virgin flight to Jamaica or generally on a 10 hour flight departing at 11:40.

Thanks

You should get 1 main meal and then a light meal or if you are lucky 2 full meals.

A lot of carriers have really cut back on their inflight catering.

On a 10 hour flight from San Francisco to H/R we got a main meal (choice of 3 mains) a snack breakfast (overnight flight) and three drink trolleys. all very good.

You should be getting one main meal and an afternoon snack with tea.

If I rely on airline food for a longhaul flight I'm always starving - and you don't want to know me when I get hungry ;-) Stock up on some non-smelly, easy to eat food if you have a big appetite!

7. Re: Virgin meals

you get hot lunch then afternoon tea (cough)

i strongly suggest if you get hungry that you take food with you,

sandwiches snacks nibbles etc as the quantity and food offered by VAA is

small... you will go hungry...

take a picnic box if you want

at LHR they sell them all made up in some terminals but i do not know if LGW does this?

eat well before you get on...the food often is a waste of space these days on virgin...its so inconsistent

good one minute then shocking the next

Definately take food with you. Virgin meals are awful IMHO.

Agree. Don't know why they try and glam it up by offering you a menu.

Because the menu tastes better than the meal.

Buy food at the airport and save the meals served for emergencies.
