I live in USA. I tried to book a flight on-line in the Air Asia website, going from Bangkok to Yangon. I got all the way to entering my credit card & it got rejected. Happened several times. So I did a google search for Air Asia executives. Found the CEO & emailed him. To my surprise, I got a reply within hours. The conclusion of several emails was that their system was programmed to reject certain credit cards from the US because of fraud. "Well that doesn't help me" said I. Next day I got an email from their CFO. I noticed that the CEO had forwarded our email string to her. She asked me to send my credit card details & they would unblock their system so it would accept my card. I did that & some hours later she emailed me again & asked me to try the booking again. I did & my credit card was accepted & my booking was done. I was amazed that their top executives would take so much trouble just for one client. These executives were excellent, they responded almost immediately to my emails & solved the problem. There is no way you would get this kind of service in any US airlines. I will ALWAYS travel with Air Asia when in Asia & will recommend them to all my travelling companions. I completed my Bangkok - Yangon - Bangkok trip. Flights were just fine. Thanks Air Asia.
