The OP never stated she intended to drink the alcohol on board, so assuming she is going to become a drunken air rage incident is way over the top. For all we know she is taking a bottle of wine as a gift or wants a couple minis to relax in the hotel with and avoid the overpriced minibar charges.

100 ml or less minis that fit in your 1L liquids bag are fine. Alcohol purchased at duty free is fine, but can be an issue if you have a connection where you once again hit the 100ml rule. Serving yourself in flight is prohibited.

I'm not sure anyone assumed that, I think the discussion just got sidetracked,

Agree totally the op has simply asked if she can transport alcohol. Not can she take it on the plane and get bladdered. Lol.

It was going ok, until the person in #3 suggested it was ok to drink it onboard, unless they went over the top with it.

Of course anybody over 18 can take alcohol in the cabin with Jet2.Otherwise all the airside duty free shops would be redundant.Minors are not permitted to carry alcohol, and as USBT correctly thought, passengers this side are also not permitted to consume their own.

This is an exemption to the UK carriage of dangerous goods regulations,so only applies to alcohol up to 70 proof.Absynthe Green is ok,but Absynthe Red is not permitted.
