ReLAX lounge at LAX

Has anyone used this?

Is it in the departure area after customs or in the general airport area?

Any feedback greatly appreciated, thanks

What do you mean by general airport area or departure area after customs? There's no such thing as the latter in the US. You only clear customs arriving off international flights.

Do you go thru immigration and customes to get to the lounge or is it after you have cleared customs in the secure area?

As OP2002 pointed out, there is no outbound immigration or customs in the USA.

Perhaps if you posted your flight details you might get more help.

The ReLax lounge is located landside (before security) next to the food court area. The entrance is situated a few seconds walk down the middle between McDonald's/Sushi place on your left, and Daily Grill on your right. You can't miss it.

If you will be departing from Tom Bradley and decide to use this lounge, make sure you allow enough time to clear security and get to your gate. I personally would leave the lounge with no less than 45 minutes to 1 hour prior to flight departure time.

I believe you show your passport at the security line at TBIT, but that's not Immigration or Customs. In Brazil, where we are, there is actual outbound government passport control.

With a boarding pass in hand, you show your passport and your boarding pass to the outbound security personnel so they can check that the names on your boarding pass and passport match, and that you look like the person in the picture. This process is done for all departing passengers regardless of domestic or international flights. It has nothing to do with immigration or customs which is for incoming passengers into America.
