Using BAEC number on flights booked on AA

Any kind person know how I should go about putting my BAEC (British Airways Executive Club) number into a flight I am booking on American Airlines ?

This flight will be a 'domestic' US flight, so I cannot book via BA, hence the need to know how to do it.

I do know it is possible but I have no clue at all how to go about it !

Just go to AA website and add your BAEC number. If you cannot do so, you can ask over the telephone or do so at an airport.

I'm on a phone (killing time in a very nice cafe in Oxford) so I can't look it up but it's somewhere in the manage my booking section (is it called my reservations ?) just log in and have a look around there.

You can add it at the time of booking. I can't remember the exact screen but it's very obvious.

Thanks to all, for some reason as it says Aadvantage number, I thought you might need some special procedure.

I am just over thinking everything these days !

Just booked the 'offending' flights......

I skipped the enter Aadvantage number, there is a drop down list of FF programs on the passenger details page for each passenger.

once again many thanks !!!!

You can book most AA domestic flights via BA.You will find many with a code share BA flight number. If you are flying in F,you get more avios on the BA code share as a BA silver or gold, but less tier points.

I did try via BA but got no results, (LGA-ORD).

Much as I would like to fly F or have status, Neither of those apply ( I still manage a few CE reward savers each year !).

Not to worry, I have now booked said tickets for my day trip to Chicago !

The reverse is easier, I spent my remaining Aadvantage miles last year on a CE LHR-AMS code share .
