Southwest-change flight question

Hi! My sister-in-law was contacted yesterday by Southwest - they needed to change her flight. At the end of the conversation, the rep said that if she needed to change it one more time, there would be no charge.

First of all, THEY were the ones making the change, but I thought you could change your flight with no charge ANYTIME. Is there a limit?

I had already changed my flight once to match hers. I was leary of changing it again after that comment - but at this point, there is no need. I really just want to know for future flights.

Methinks she misunderstood. They changed the flight time and told her if she needs to change again there's no charge. That's no charge for making the change. If there's an increase in fare, she pays.

Yep, sounds like a misunderstanding. Southwest does not charge a change fee at ANYTIME and there is not a "limit"

Ahhh, that must have been what he meant - if you change it and the cost is higher, you need to pay for it. That makes total sense! Thanks!
