hey everyone i have a question and i really want to make sure i understand the air france website.
I am flying out from logan Boston to TLV Israel with this flight plan:
my marseille layover is sort of long, at least long enough to do some duty free shopping. i really want to try and get a nice bottle of whiskey, brandy or cognac for a family member.
the Air france website states this regarding liquids bought in a duty-free.
- Are you traveling within the European Union*? You can purchase duty-free liquids at the airport or on board, as long as they remain in a sealed plastic bag and are accompanied by the receipt.
- Are you departing from a non-European country but connecting in a European airport*? Do not purchase duty-free liquids outside of the European Union or on board, as they will be confiscated by security during your connection.
so here is where i am confused and i want to be sure, does this mean that as long as i purchase any liquids (specifically alcoholic ones) at Marseille after coming in from CDG and flying out to TLV, and assuming they are naturally sealed in a bag i will be able to bring those bottles with me onto the flight from Marseille to TLV?
i know it's a long shot, but i am hoping someone knows the answer.
