I recently flew to far eastern Russia. The first sector was with Lufthansa ABZ-FRA. My bags did not arrive in FRA so I filed a report and continued the journey. Despite many calls, emails etc the bags were not forwarded and the airline have every indication of doing very little. Eventually I flew back to Europe and collected the bags while transiting Schiphol! LH did not pay any compensation because "they are not legally required to" so much for customer service & I'm an LH silver frequent flyer travelling business!
Anyone have any similar lost bag experience?
