Houston Airport - United Airlines

Hello, we are flying on United Airlines from Calgary Intl YYC to Fort Lauderdale next week connecting thru Houston. We have an hour and 10 minutes to connect. I know we will clear US customs in YYC, but just wondering if we will have enough time to connect with 70 minutes. There are 15 of us, 4 being seniors and 5 being children, so we will not be able to walk super fast. Do you think we will fly in and out of the same terminal in Houston?

Both should be in and out of terminal C Why don't you just go to google.com and type united 1238 or xxxx being the flight numbers and see where they are landing at IAH so you can see the terminal and gate numbers

Gates will vary but terminals generally don't

If your flight is on time and you are not at the back of the plane then you should make it but if your flight is delayed, well your guess is as good as ours

70 minutes should be ok as long as your first flight is on time - you can use the flight status service on the UA website to check terminals/gates for your flights as well as looking at the IAH Terminal Map.

Thanks to both of you! I did print off an IAH Terminal Map and will check the UA website... I didn't realize that it would show the terminal.

I looked on the United website tonight, but do not see the arriving and departing terminal?

United uses primarily terminals C and E at Houston. Assigned arrival and departure gates can change regularly due to ever changing operational requirements. Your boarding passes will give you preliminary gate information which you can check against the terminal maps found inside each seat back pocket. This can be useful planning information but be sure to confirm your IAH departure gate upon your arrival.

70 minutes is very tight and does not allow much margin if your flight arrives late. If, for some reason, you miss your connection, you will be booked on the next available flight which may or may not be the next scheduled flight.
