Any advice on taking a baby buggy on Ryanair

We're heading out to PDC in May ... DH and I have been a few times and want to show our family why we love it .

Our 3 year old grandchild will be with us and whilst she very , very rarely needs her buggy at home , we are thinking of taking it as we will be doing lots of walking and also be out later in the evening than normal .. So we thought , take a buggy and she can always have a snooze of we are out .

I can't seem to find any info on ryanairs web site .. Re costs etc . And if we have to pre book it with them ....

It's a whole new ball game travelling as a group than just our normal 2 :) but soooo looking forward to it ...

Can anyone offer any advice for us please

Happycruzer you will be delighted to hear the buggy is free of charge they will just put it in the hold for you there is no need to book it on.

Thank you Sooooo much ginger !

Do we just put a luggage label on it and check it in along with out suitcase ( pre-paid checked luggage )

It's so different travelling with a wee one than it is just as a couple .. But will be well worth it .

Thank you for info !! Much appreciated !

Sorry, should have asked if they must be in a bag or any special type of cover.

When I looked at Ryanairs web site they direct you to another site which sells some kind of covers !!

When ever we go with grandchildren ryanair just take them off us at the steps leading up to plane we do put a name on it just in case there are so many buggys the same now.
