In January 2014 we booked for our family of 4 to travel to Singapore in July with Qantas. After Qantas announced they were cancelling Singapore flights we learned we would be returing with Jetstar. We will now not receive a full service flight and have been told we will get a hot meal (we had already booked kids meals for our 2 young boys in our initial booking with Qantas) and a $10 voucher for the flight. We will also get our luggage allowance and Frequent Flyer points. What about our beverages and electronic entertainment that we paid for?? We have emailed Qantas with our query but they re-iterated that we will not get beverages or electronic equipment. They reminded us that our luggage allowance and FF points would be honoured. As if we will fly Qantas again if they will not give us our full service entitlements that we have already paid for. How hard is it to provide us with electonics and beverages if they have said they will give us a meal, luggage, FF etc. We are not happy. The flight experience is a big part of our holiday experience and our boys are devastated that they will not be flying Qantas. Has anyone else got this problem?
