Due to 5 hour delay in Rome, we missed connection in Dubai for direct flight in BUSINESS class to Cape Town. Without giving alternatives, Emirates rerouted us through Johannesburg and provided ECONOMY class ticket from JHB to CPT. Direct flight would have been available 3 hours later but probably was full. Why no upgrading to First? Luggage arrived 30 hours late. No apology or refund from Emirates after more than 10 weeks and 4 reminders.
