Miss not Mrs!

Hi,

Can someone out there advise me...we're flying in 2 weeks with Lufthansa and I've just noticed the booking says Mrs for my daughter not Miss - all other details are correct.

Does this really matter?

Thanks

x

It could say Mr and it wouldn't matter. Seriously. Doesn't matter at all.

I have had a LH flight that said I was "Mr" and I most definitely am not. No one cares.

The German equivalent of "Miss" (Fräulein) was abolished about 40 years ago - there is only one form of address for women, and that's "Frau". So - no, it really doesn't matter.

What? No more "Fraulein Maria"? *Sigh*

I think that you need to get your daughter married, and in a hurry...

No, the Salutation, or Prefix, is seldom noticed with ticketing. My wife is a MRS. on many tickets, but a MS. on others. Her US Passport does not differentiate in that respect.

You should be fine.
