Rome -Munich - US - short time and passport control

I'm flying out of Rome to Munich as my connecting to the US. I arrive Munich 8:05 am Sat , Oct 25 with departure to US 9:30 am

I assume I'll have to go through passport control

Does anyone with knowledge of Munich airport know if I'll be ok with such a short connecting time ?

Thanks !

If the worst happens, I have a 3 hr layover in Houston before the last leg home

My flight from Rome is on a united ticket by Lufthansa and I'm connecting to a United flight back to US

I'm coming in on a Lufthansa flight (code share with United ) and departing on a United flight to Houston

I guess they are in the same terminal ?

Both are in T2 (a simple search on the MUC airport website would have given you that information).

Your itinerary usually tells you which terminals your flights use as well.
