Worry about being too big!

I am 6"4" 300 lbs. I am just a big guy. I fly with my wife, and usually like to sit in isle seat. She will sit in middle most of the time. The seatbelt will lock but usually very tight. I can put tray down but uncomfortable. My legs fit but knees are jammed to seat in front of me. I try not to shake the seat in front of me. I try not to lean into the isle. I have never asked for a seat belt extender. I don't have time to purchase, 2 days before our flight from Atlanta to Stockholm. At what time should I request a seat belt extender? From ticket agent, boarding person or the FA?

From the FA when you get on. They keep a few on hand.

Going out on a limb here (pardon the pun) but if your a travelling with Delta, would recommend up grading to Economy Comfort (just go to my trip to upgrade), those extra 4" of legroom could be a godsend and the extra cost isn't prohibitive

Agree with 289jumper, you are a big guy and I think for the price, you will enjoy those extra inches.

What happens, for example if the crew run out of belt extenders and there are a few passengers left who need them?
