TOM51 25 July Punta Cana to LGW

Was anyone on this flight home? Did you feel as p'd off as we do? Once we were on airside, we were all alone, nobody to talk to, communicate with. This isn't accceptable. I eventually spotted the Captain and a couple of the cabin crew. They didn't know anything about the delay and were of no help whatsoever.

This is a short delay in comparison to others mentioned, but

get some advice from Civil Aviation Authority. Complain, complain, complain.

I think it's a pity that several people decided to delete your previous thread, as it contained a lot of good info as to why the pilot and crew turned up later (in short, for your benefit unlike as you seem to assume some sort of lackadaisical attitude) and why local staff may not have known anything about the reason for the delay.

Does it matter what the reason was now unless you want compensation? If you are eligible on time grounds then put a claim in,otherwise I think you are being unrealistic in expecting information that for the reasons explained in that deleted post, may not have been known locally and you can't do anything with.

USBT - That's up there with the very best. A mighty fine piece of work.

Missed the original thread. How long was the delay?

I don't know why it was removed either!

MrMarcoos the delay was only just under 3 hours. His original thread stated 3 hour in the title, but he re-posted this thread a couple of minutes later, without the delay time in the title lol.

Thanks Leyland.

Have to agree with Joe. If the delay is under three hours there will be no compo behind the green door for Shaky .
