Dawn Princess - power sockets in cabins

I have read on another website that the Dawn Princess's in cabin power sockets are being converted from US style sockets to Australian style sockets - does anyone out there in Trip Advisor land know if this is true?

Can't imagine why an American cruise company would want to do that! Australia are 2 pin plugs anyway so as long as you have and adaptor should be no problem...

we cruised on Dawn Princess last november, they were putting in new power points as we cruised.i would imagine all cabins would be completed by now.

P.S dont buy any clothes on board, my husband bought 2 shirts, both shrunk badly on first washing.
