Would it be impossibe for T/A

To post the name of the last poster under the time.

If I am following a particular forum, I find it annoying to scroll down, only to find, the last poster was me.

I have seen other forums sites that do this.

Come on peeps. We fought for the edit button, got there eventually.

Why not have:

1.)" View first unread "

2.)" Mouse over "

3)" Allow each user to pick order in which responses appear.

I would prefer a hide button so those topics i choose to ignore or have contributed as much as i care to are all hidden. i just want to see topics i am following or new topics.

Great idea to show the name of last poster.

I often come up with the same problem as Lilly, checking on the latest post on a thread, only to find it by me!

BTW, I think it's great that TA does change the order of the posts based on most recent reply, unlike some other well-known forums that keep the original order -- by date of the original post. Subsequent replies easily get lost in the interim, since they can be way down on older pages.

Agreed. I used it in another forum and it's very helpful, both mouse over to read part of the thread, and time and name of last poster. Very useful.

I think some of these suggestions were made early last year too, but can't find the thread or recall what TA's reaction was.

Do they ever tell us what they decided to do with the suggested ideas?
