Why Change the site ?

Why when everything runs ok do you have someone trying to justify their job by making changes to this site. The site was fine would be nice if it was reverted, but probably won't happen !

I am pretty sure that TA or in fact no other company just change things for the fun of it. Website development costs money

I have to think that every change TripAdvisor makes is to increase profits, although I can not see where the money is in most of them

Cheerleader65, TripAdvisor has made a number of changes over the years. Many have been very good!

Some of the latest, not so good. In my opinion.

I like many of the features on TA. When they are user friendly, run easily, no problems, I don't think about it, take it for granted. e.g. messaging, review viewing and filtering, moving from forum to forum (albeit knowing how to do that efficiently,) the new Help Centre (excluding the glitch re links).

But I do agree that some of the changes have been counter productive, confusing, awkward and plain form-not-function. e.g. profile page of Annoying Tiles, lack of proper navigation to Destination Forums rather than to Support.

My 2 cents.
