What the heck happened to the 'Travel Guide'

I loved reading the Travel Guide everyday. Why the change? How can I read all the new reviews like before? It was THE best feature when planning a trip...you could see ALL reviews in one place.

I agree! In these situations, TA staff likes to see all the reaction in one place. Would you mind also posting your comments on this thread in the Help Us Make TA Better forum? It has the most responses so far:

Hi ca-beachcouple シ

I loved the old feature. I routinely looked for reviews from folks who mixed up El Arco with Villa del Arco and problems like that. ("Visited El Arco but didn't like the beds." What? You stayed at a rock?)

Lots of complaints about this 'new' feature. Add yours to the on-going thread over on the Help Us Make TripAdvisor Better forum. tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g1-i12104-k5257959…

Hi PacFam, Sorry, I never use these support forums.....till now I've been pretty happy with TA. I wish they'd stop messing with that review section. A couple of years ago I think they changed the name from 'Before you go'.

BTW 'Before you go' was a better name. imo

Yes I mind. Let TA staff look all over for information like TripAdvisor users have to.

No need to apologize, ca-beachcouple.

From time to time TA has made a major castastrophic blunder on the website. When that happens, hundreds of posters emerge from the "trenches" to complain about it. It's easier for TA to read all the posts if they are confined to one or two.

In this case, this is indeed a terrible change IMO.
