Seems that the problem with read post not changing colour (to purple) has re-appeared.

Hi Hans,

Working for me too (and I checked with others here too). Is this still happening for you? If so, can you let us know a few things?

- are you using the same language site you always use?

- are you also getting signed out during your sessions?

From what I understand, we do occasionally hear about this from folks and it has come down to their cookies- just trying to get more information from you so we can figure out why you are seeing it.

Thanks!

As an FYI, I use a computer cleaning program (free) that deletes all of these things. After the last upgrade (not sure what they did although the site may give information about the upgrade), when I return to a forum after a cleaning, all of the "reads" have gone to "unreads". I don't know if this would be useful information. Also, I haven't changed the cookie/cache cleaning setting.

Sorry, I was a little confused this morning, and I passed that confusion on to Jeanine. This is probably not a cookies issue, but rather would occur if you've recently cleared your browsing history, or if you're using something like "private browsing" or "incognito browsing" (depending on which browser you're using, the name is different). L4, assuming that your cleaning program clears your history, that would be consistent with what you describe, too.

Thanks,

TA_Jeanine,

>> are you using the same language site you always use?

.co.uk as always

>> are you also getting signed out during your sessions?

No, I don't get signed out

TA_DanW,

I did not clear browsing history and I do not use InPrivate Browsing (IE9).

Read posts that are older than yesterday stay purple.

When I click on a topic in the forum listing the title momentarily changes to purple before opening the topic, but when I return to the forum listing is has reverted to blue.

It's very similar to a glitch that happened some months ago, but I have had no luck searching for that topic.

L4,

Yes, that was the topic I was looking for - I was searching in the wrong forum;-), but not exactly same situation I see. Clicking on the time stamp takes me to the latest post.

The problem I have now is that blue is not changing to purple when read.
