Forum post not in time order

I'm using the .co.uk version and the United Kingdom forum level:

tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g186216-i15-Unit…

As I type the first page (ignoring the pinned thread) runs in time from 12.00 down to 06.53, while page 2 starts at the top with 11.30 - in fact the top four posts are timed later than 06.53.

I've refreshed a couple of times but still out of kilter. Have we got gremlins?

Air Travel Forum is in a mess too on .co.uk. There are posts on pages 2, 3 & 4 from today more recently than posts on page 1. I assume it's linked to the down time on the forums from last night?

Hi

All the forums I am using on .co.uk are OK

Try logging off and back on again and you might pick up a different server

<<Try logging off and back on again and you might pick up a different server>>

Just logged back in and even this thread wasn't on the first page of the forum - so still the same issue - servers out of synch. by the sounds of it.

Annoying as it means that recent posts can be missed as they're appearing way down the order.

Yes, it's the same for me. I've logged in several times and there is still a problem on the UK forums and the AT forum ( haven't looked much anywhere else). I agree, CheresX, it's annoying and it's easy to miss the more recent posts that appear at the top of page 5 or 6!

Hi everyone,

Thanks for reporting this. This may have something to do with the site maintenance last night. It does look like things are back to normal again. Sorry about that!

Hi Jeanine,

It's not normal for me. I see posts that I have answered with 0 replies (I open them and see my response). If I refresh the page, it shows with the reply on the main forum page, but momentarily only. Close the page and come back, and again posts look like they're unanswered. (.com)

I can confirm it all looks looks for me too now on the forums. Thanks Jeanine!

*Edit* Looks like I posted at the same time as Expat who is still having issues so might not be totally fixed. I'm on .co.uk and the earlier issue I experienced has certainly gone away.

Sorry TA_Jeanine - they're not back to normal here. I've been offline for a while (having cleared history, cache cookies etc) and the UK forum is currently showing

Page 1 Top post 17.04 Bottom 15.29

Page 2 starts 16.46 ends 14.23

Page 3-6 seem OK

Page 7 starts 16.21 ends yesterday

Page 8 has top post 16.13 others yesterday

Opps!!

Still strangeness happening see https://flic.kr/p/nH8Shr tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g186216-i15-o100…

Top post on page 6 is about six hours and six pages out of place, top post on pages 7, 8, 9 are also obviously out of sequence

Problem is also occurring on the London forum https://flic.kr/p/nqXQfp tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowForum-g186338-i17-o100…

So it is not just Collector forums, but why on page 6?

I see the problem using FF but not on IE.
