Respond to Hotel's Response to a Post

I recently wrote a post about a stay at a hotel to which the ownership responded. The response is completely inaccurate and without any credibility or facts. How can I respond his statements when he was not on site and did not experience what my entire group encountered at the hotel? I have reported his comments as inappropriate as his response is just that, inappropriate. How can I respond to his post?

TripAdvisor only allows a review and one reply. There is no back-and-forth allowed.

Hi DinLBC;

>>"I have reported his comments as inappropriate as his response is just that, inappropriate."<<

TA staff will only delete the response if it violates the guidelines.

Hmmm, I do not see any "inappropriateness" in the Management Response.

You can remove your review (save it in Word). Then you can rewrite or edit it and repost. The MR will also be removed, but the management is entitled to reply to the new review.

I would save your review in Word anyway, as you referred to another review which violates guidelines and might therefore be removed when TA looks at your report. You could then edit it and resubmit.

I thought the MR was perfectly reasonable, measured and well balanced and I saw nothing inappropriate in the manager's comments.

He is just as entitled to defend his establishment on an open forum as you are to criticise it on an open forum.

I would move on if I were you.

I would think blatant lies would be considered inappropriate.

Wasn't looking for your comments to the post, just how to reply to them.
