I'm getting sucked into the black hole of hundreds of potential beach holidays and hope you might be able to offer some recommendations.
We are a late-twenties couple looking for a 10-day stay at a European (or close to Europe) beach this August. We ideally are doing this on a budget, so no luxury resorts I'm afraid.
--Our main priority is access to a beach that is not overly mobbed with families/children. We'd love to find something secluded where we can spend each day lounging, reading and swimming.
--Being able to walk to the beach from out hotel is also necessary. We would be happy to visit multiple beaches in one area, but will not have a car.
--A nearby forest/national park/wildlife reserve would be wonderful.
--We are not so interested in clubbing, so good nightlife is a very low priority.
--We will want to drink some local wine/cocktails and have a good meal or two.
Please do send any advice or tips you might have! We are very, very open to suggestions.
