We had a truly terrible experience with Fleetway Travel.

As will any travel company you see their true colours when something goes wrong. Apparently their customer service is "Not a phone-based department" so we either had to call another dept on an 0870 number or "write a letter" once the holiday is over. They wouldn't refund an incredibly oversold and under-delivering hotel and then lied about the hotel charging them for days cancelled (we checked at reception and there was no charge from the hotel's side).

The Fleetway staff were sarcastic, rude and generally toxic.

Never use this company, it doesn't matter where you travel, the company attitude to their customers is completely wrong.

Can only praise Fleetway Travel, we had a week family holiday in Majorca in May and can truly say had one of the most organised and pleasant experiences in many years of travel five *****

I used them this year for our holiday to Sharm el Sheikh - we couldn't fault them. They were very helpful with queries I had before booking, then questions I had after booking (I spoke to Kim on several occasions and she was brilliant!). Then on arriving in Egypt we were met at the airport by an employee of the company who escorted us to the baggage area, waited with us, then took us out to our waiting mini van taxi (only me, husband and son in the taxi....)- to our hotel in about 10 minutes - friendly, great service!!

A thoroughly pleasurable experience using Fleetway Travel for our holiday! I would definitely book through Fleetway again if I felt I couldn't do my trip completely independently AND if their prices were competitive.

My friend and I have just returned from a week in Sharm el Sheikh booked through Fleetway Travel. I can't fault them, however I researched the hotel thoroughly before making any bookings. I read all the information on Fleetway's site including Ts & Cs, compared prices against other agencies, as one would expect to, and made my choice to use Fleetway.

To book I telephoned, spoke to a representative whom I found helpful and knowledgeable. Deposit paid, our confirmations came immediately and quite clearly showing everything I'd asked for including private transfers to and from the resort. I missed the date for the balance to be paid - called up and, hey, it was no bother at all. Very pleasant conversation again and wished us a good holiday. Two days before we were due to leave I got a call from Fleetway asking me to reprint my travel documents as they had changed their ground transportation company in Sharm.

On arrival there was our Fleetway rep who pointed us towards the desk to get Visas if we didn't have (not needed if not leaving the Sharm el Sheikh area, but if going 'out of town' to Tiran, Ras Mohammed or into the Desert - then go get a visa in London, saves the queues). Once through Passport check and collected luggage we found our driver and we were off to our hotel and a week of sunshine and relaxation!

Yes I have used it in the past three years, for four different bookings. We only enjoyed one of the holidays because the remaining three were cancelled due to the ash cloud but they refused to refund the money, I was pushed to book another holiday but in a different time, due to that I took legal advise, in the end I got a refund, the second holiday was Agadir, it was ruined too, the hotel didnt even deserve a 3* rating but we paid for a 5* hotel. But the interesting holiday was the holiday to Tunisa in April 2013, guess what, I had a phone call saying the holiday had been cancelled. I have asked them to rebook us but we were told we need to pay an extra £1000. I do not recommend this travel agency as the result is always disappointing, it seems likey they don't really care.
