321 travel

Interesting that all threads relating to 321 travel have been removed!!

But just wanted to update on a problem that I had, so not so angry and fed up now, as we are close to sorting it out! I thought it was worth one more call to 321 travel, rather than trying for weeks to get the money back and I have to say that their customer service was a completely different experience this time and they were very helpful. As prices and availability had changed, the solution has involved a change of date, duration and airport, with a late outward flight, but I am ok with this, as they have included the extra night of accomodation and carparking for free. They are also adding in resort transfer, which apparently was not included originally. Still finding it a bit of a hassle sorting stuff with their admin - confusing confirmation, as lots of stuff incorrect and don't know what is happening with the room, which should have been a triple, as paying adult prices, with no reductions for my two kids. At least it is nearly organised and we are going on a holiday. I am grateful for the effort that 321 travel have made to sort this out.

Whether or not you agree, threads can be reported or voted down by your fellow posters; this is how TripAdvisor works in all forums. I recall some of the attacks and language in those posts, which is likely why they were reported and removed. I also believe very old posts are removed after certain amounts of time. If you feel they were removed in error - post in the TripAdvisor support forum with a reason why you think they should be resurrected. I'm glad your travel situation is more positive and you've had some better luck.

I am glad that your experience has been more positive since your original post on 321 Travel. And thanks for coming back with the update, many people with issues do not do that!

By the way, I don't know what happened to the other threads. The last thing I saw was someone purportedly from the company coming on to take issue with some of the negative posts. I wonder if that had anything to do with it?

Hey, i can come back with feedback. 321 travel have been a total negative experience for me.

I have multiple complaints against them and a printed list of all of the negative reviews that they have removed.

This is a bad egg of a company and dont know the first thing about customer service or integrity.

I even asked for copies of phone calls and they got into a flap even though there is a legal obligation to provide call recordings. The reason they wont give a copy of the calls is because they know i will make the recordings public so people can see first hand how bad this company really is. I wish i had four hands so i could give 321 travel 4 thumbs down. Never ever trust a company that writes its own reviews and goea around trying to delete negarltve posts, they are conning the public by hiding the truth.

Yes ours was a negative experience overall, as a whole lot of hassle, probably 30% more expensive than booking directly and had to do a lot of emailing back n forward, have to print all your own boarding passes etc anyway so no advantage over booking direct. They messed up our hotel booking - we paid for 3 adults but were given accomodation for 2 adults and a cot! - which we expressly asked them not to get for my 3 year old! We arrived at 2am in morning, as they had us on an evening flight - not ideal with 2 small children. Was not until the afternoon the next day, that the hotel moved us to a suitable room, so we couldn't unpack and start to enjoy the holiday. They booked us on the cheapest, most awkward transfers and airport parking as well

My experience with this company was horrific. Unethical, immoral, misleading and dishonest.

Anyone reading this, please consider another company that will provide you with the holiday that you ask and pay for.

Buster2073: Just a note to say that they may be ALL the things you say they are - your claims are meaningless, as is your post, unless you provide details to the thread about your situation. Anyone can google a company and sign up, post in TripAdvisor, either a rave or complaint. It's the details which make a post authentic or not. At least the OP, and Post #3, #4 shared some details.

I agree. It is pointless to just state a company is unethical immoral etc unless you are prepared to say why. Nobody will take nay notice of such a post.

321 travel are indeed cowboys. Although they present their trips as package holidays, in fact all they do is to use the credit card details that you have supplied to book budget airline flights and hotel rooms from price comparison websites - you could do all this yourself, save money and actually choose the flights that were convenient for you! Before we booked they said we would not have a stopover, but when the booking details come through we had a stopover - between two flights - using different budget airlines - leaving about an hour for us to collect our luggage, exit immigration, check in to the second flight, and pass security again. Very stressful! And because everything is booked using your credit card details, you can't get any refunds and have no consumer protection at all - as far as the budget airlines / hotel are concerned you have booked the flights directly with them through their website. I guess this is why previous posters have accused them of being unethical - because none of this is obvious when they are selling you the 'package' on the phone. In a way they are taking advantage of people who are less computer literate, as these are the people most likely to make use of a travel agent and book by phone, rather than find their own way to the budget airline websites. My advice to anyone thinking of booking with 321 is to avoid them like the plague - either book your own budget flights and rooms using Trivago or a similar website, or else go to a reputable High Street travel agent. Also - if you check their website you will find that they don't actually supply a geographical address where they operate from - only a virtual PO Box in central London (despite using an Essex based 01708 telephone number). So you can't (a) write to them (b) turn up and demand to speak to the manager (3) issue court proceedings.

Me too, tried to fob me off, placed us on a holiday that didn't exist, then when we got there we didn't have a room. They only booked us for 7 days instead of 8. Which was pointed out previously and they booked us into Estopona instead of Nerja. Where our holiday was. I have been honest with them since the first communication that I am an investigative journalist and their £18 charge per flight had no legal substance. They rescinded that but still did not inform the holiday venue of the changes. Now reporting them to Trading Standards, Companies House and putting it in the newspapers.
