Priceline.com.......... Anyone in the uk used it?

Been looking at flight auction sites and found Priceline.com, a 'name your own price for flights' site. Anyone in the uk used it? It seems to want your credit card info upfront, so once your 'bid' is accepted you cant change anything? Also dont want to be spending 12 hours in a airport for a stopover! Help!!

The Terms and Conditions for flight options for NYOP are below (see link):

priceline.com/InformationCenter/html/faq.htm…

You can also look for some helpful information here:

www.betterbidding.com/index.php?showforum=173

and here:

Honestly, since the time range terms are so variable and unknown, I don't think I'd ever consider it. Depending on the itinerary (Domestic or International) you may or may not have a long stopover. But, yes, you pay in advance and all fees are disclosed to you - then, if your bid is accepted, your credit card will be charged, ticket issued, and no changes are allowed - none, zero, notta.

By the way, THANKS for your post and coming to the forum before booking; rather than all the complaints we see posted here where someone never read the T&C's and booked, only realizing later what they had agreed to.
