posting ski boots from australia to st anton

i will be travelling to europe for two months at the end of the year, with a week of skiing in st anton in the last few weeks. instead of lugging around two sets of boots with us everywhere, we were thinking of shipping them. Does anyone have any experience shipping ski gear from australia to europe?

We looked at doing that from both from Australia to the US and the US to Europe, and found the cost too high (there were five of us). For Australia, we just rented gear. When we skied Europe, we took our equipment but our trip was shorter. For our bulky ski clothing, that we didn't need when traveling (gloves, hats, ski pants, long underwear, etc), I used Eagle Creek Compression sacs which were absolute lifesavers and I highly recommend.

There are several companies that ship luggage internationally. I would start here for pricing:

The other option would be to use a luggage storage service at or near an airport or train station that you will be returning to sometime during your travels.
