Do it! Here's just one example of someone who chose to do it alone. Many others.

HI,

Go and have a wonderful time!! Visit the Las Vegas forum and start asking questions.

When you are there go to one of the pool parties and really enjoy yourself!!

It is not just for couples!!!

Connor just put 'Las Vegas' into the little search box just above the thread on the forum to find this question asked a lot and info given.

You can do the same on the Las Vegas forum search box too. Just add 'going Solo'. Should give lots of tips.

connor2130,

i would say WHY were you going to vegas in the first place?

if you can do what you want solo, i would say go for it.

to me, there really isn't anywhere that is mandatory to be paired up with someone other then a 3 legged race or something else around those lines.

Gambling- they don't care if you're solo, paired, gay, lesbian, TG, martian, a politician or whoever, all they want is your $$$$.

Shows - again, see Gambling.

Prostitution - again, see gambling.

Museums - again, see gambling

Horseback riding - this is probably better a solo thing at least 1 rider per horse. Im sure the horse will thank for for it too.

There is a Nuclear Museum a few blocks off the strip near UNLV. I went there (SOLO) late last year.

I also raided some of the chocolate shops (SOLO) too.

good luck.

Connor

Vegas solo is still an awesome time man!!! I went solo back in April for 3 days and had a blast. Went skydiving, watched Carrot Top, Abstinthe (both awesome shows!!!), drove to Red Rock Canyon and enjoyed my time by myself with no one to hassle me.

There's plenty to do...casinos, walk the strip, Fremont street, strip clubs, etc....basically whatever you wanna do there...at a cost that is

But now you're single...might as well go and enjoy it while you can.

i have been to las vegas with friends/family/solo.

it all depends on what you want to do. i enjoyed the most with friends.

my last solo trip was a little boring --- the casino part as my luck was horrible for the whole weekend. but i enjoyed the other things i wanted to do as i didnt need to plan for others.

my advice would be to go ahead. just make a list of things you like to do and go for it. you will enjoy. atleast gives you some time to take your mind off the recent breakup.
