No idea. Is it a flexible ticket you can use on any train?

Where did you buy your ticket?

Plenty of tickets don't mention a train, simply because they are not for a specific train. But your post makes it hard to understand what exactly is the issue here.

Did you book through Rail Ninja by any chance?

Normally when you buy the ticket you choose the train, and you can choose the seat as well. Then you print it off at home. On this route it costs from €14.90 directly from Czech Railways (http://www.cd.cz/en) or Austrian Railways (http://www.oebb.at), or http://www.regiojet.com

However, if you went through a shonky third party, such as the aforementioned 'Rail Ninja', you will have likely paid a lot more, and you may not even receive the ticket at all. Raise a complaint with your card issuer, if possible.

In my experience, trains are usually only listed on tickets if you have bought a restricted fare type that is only valid on the service you chose. other ticket types are more flexible and can be used on any service on the date stated.

Just out of interest, who is the 'they' you mention?
