Danube Express - Istanbul Loop

We have booked for the 2012 Istanbul Loop. Does anyone have any interesting tips or advice for us? We are 65 and 60 and hope we can manage the walking. Any ideas on clothing etc will be most helpful.

Your question is a bit cryptic.

Is this some kind of rail tour? From where to where and when? Clothing will certainly be affected by the 'when'.

It is a rail tour and I most certainly wouldn't want to do that trip in the dead of winter!

But the publicity pictures show people on nice sunny days.

The trip only goes once a year on the 30th of May and not in the dead of winter. It begins in Budapest and travels through Romania, Bulgaria and into Istanbul then loops back through Serbia into Budapest. It is a private train.

sounds like it covers a lot of teritory but at a price of over 5000 pounds, seems kind of expensive, or is that just me?
