Can I take food in luggage onto Eurostar?

Going from Paris to London, having just stayed in an apartment, can I bring opened food to London, to my new apartment or do I need to repurchase food? Thanks

If the food is already opened just make sure it's wrapped carefully or in tupperware boxes as you will have to put your bags through a scanning machine on a conveyor belt like at airport security. Trays are provided and you handle your bags yourself.
