cost of train travel from Chicago to Flagstaff

Just checking if we have got this right. If one senior and one adult book a rommet. it would cost 300 dollars for one coach passenger and about 600 dollars for the roomette. The total of approximately 900 dollars?

Depends when you travel and how far ahead you book, just like in England. And it is a very long way!

You don't pay for coach and a roomette. Coach is ordinary seats, roomettes are convertible compartments for day / night travel.

I did a quick look a that trip for a month's time. Two coach seats costs $320, a roomette for 2 people $744.

You take one or the other - or the more expensive superliner bedroom!

You purchase your two travel tickets for the low priced Chaircar rate. Then you purchase the roomette upgrade which is for one or two persons. Your cost is the two chaircar tickets plus the one upgrade for two. What it will cost depends on how early you purchase. Prices go up as accommodations get sold.
