Welcome and Congrats on your wedding!

I am not very regular poster on Honeymoon and Romance forum, but think mentioning your dates, interests and what kind of vacation you are after, plus as much trivia as your departing airport etc would help members here to narrow it down a bit.

How you envision this holiday? Have you travel at all before you met your husband? Is there a trip/holiday/experience you remember fondly ? Ditto for him... ?

I'm thinking a nice all-inclusive romantic resort located on a warm sunny palm-fringed beach...............without knowing your dates of travel, I'll say that now until just before Christmas you will find the lowest rates for travel to the Caribbean/Mexico............

A personal favorite is the Riviera Maya region of Mexico................somewhere fairly close to Playa Del Carmen.......a great variety of accommodation and activities are here........the Iberostar hotels at Playa Paraiso, 20 minutes from PDC, and less than 30 from the Cancun airport would be a good choice for you........the Maya hotel is the one I recommend, based on your price point, but the Grand is also adult only and so a little more high-end and costly.....................read the glowing reviews of both properties here on Trip Advisor.................at the same resort, you can also choose from the Beach hotel, the Del Mar and the Lindo, all at varying price points.............

jkpolano....................if you'd like to check reviews of any property or restaurant/activity here on TA, just scroll up to the top of this screen, and on the right hand side you will see the "SEARCH" bar..............enter the name and click on search to find lots of traveler reviews and photos of the properties I've mentioned to you, or any others you're interested in.................

Really depends on how adventurous you are feeling - would you rather stay in the United states - is that a comfort? How far are you willing to fly and do you have passports? You mentioned your budget, but how long do you have for this honeymoon - how many days & nights?? Also, when would you want to go? Any particular activities you enjoy or hope to do? That would be really helpful! :)

What is your idea of a honeymoon? The spectrum goes from touristy/sightseeing kinds of travel to lay-on-your-butt and do nothing vacations. More information of what you have daydreamed about doing when the time came to vacation and then I think you will get tons of great suggestions.

Ubud in Bali offers tropical paradise with a fascinating culture you will not find anywhere else on the planet.

From a romantic point of view why not...bathe together in the hot springs inside a volcano... have a chocolate massage together in a couples room at a beautiful spa... eat at a candle lit outdoor restaurant overlooking rice fields... stay somewhere beautiful, quiet and with a jungle backdrop - somewhere that will decorate the room and balcony with flowers especially for your honeymoon.

Want to mix it up with some adventure? Near Ubud there are white water rafting, canyoning, ATV's, elephant riding, great snorkeling, traditional dance and music performances - the list goes on.....

I have a suggestion, how you been to Bali?

there many cheap villas around $ 300 / night and good for honeymooners.

near the beaches, verdant rice paddies, small town know, you stay choose the the place you want it romantic.

you can tour several the place in the area spend the $ 300 five times tour.

food is also reasonably priced and also a natural spa.
