Honeymoon on the beach in September

Hi Everyone! My fiance and I are getting married September 2014 and have been researching Honeymoon locations. We would love to be on beach and plan to stay atleast 10 days. With hurricane season, we would prefer to stay away from the Caribbean. Some locations we have considered are Hawaii, Fiji, Bora Bora, Santorini. Although we have a few locations in mind, we are defiantly open to suggestions! Our budget is 5-8k... We are looking for a tropical-like location with beach access and plenty of activities (outside of the resort/hotel). We enjoy wildlife, being outdoors, the ocean, people watching, great food, drinks and wine! We are very adventurous people and love to travel so we prefer to honeymoon outside of the country. Any input on our listed locations or others would be greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks TA friends!

Have you ever thought of Africa, I highly recommend Tanzania as perfect destination for your honeymoon. You can spend upto 12day as on your budget, where you can start by Safari for 6 days(Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti), and finish up on the finest beaches of Zanzibar Island with many water activities including Diving and Snorkeling.

To start your plan you can use the below links for more info on Tanzania

The Cook Islands, combining a 3-island visit is a tropical beach destination option. These islands in the South Pacific, located nearer to Tahiti, are Polynesian in culture and character. Currency is NZ dollars. Some very good choices for beachfront accommodation on Rarotonga and Aitutaki, with an inland experience on Atiu on the highest land areas. Dining includes a wide range of cuisine.

Air New Zealand operates a weekly direct flight from LAX into Rarotonga - arriving on Monday morning local time. Northbound departures to LAX occur late Saturday evening from Raro. Air Rarotonga provides a 3 island visit including Atiu (caves, birdlife and deserted coves); Aitutaki island with its magnificent lagoon for cruising, snorkelling, diving, kayaking and bone-fishing. Rarotonga the capital island has land and lagoon-based activities, black pearls, crafts and deep-sea fishing - www.airraro.com.

Have a look around the official tourism site - www.cookislands.travel/.

All the best with your honeymoon planning. Kia manuia.
