honeymoon in november- budget £4000 total

We are planning our honeymoon for this november. We have a budget of £4000 to include everything.

We want a lie on the beach, soak up the sun, dip in the pool/sea and do nothing sort of thing.

Any ideas of where is best?

Sorry, we would want to go for 10 nights.

We want all inclusive -including drinks.

And no children if possible.

You'll find everything you're looking for in the Riviera Maya, all-inclusive, adult-only resorts are readily available.......its a bit of a haul, but you have 10 days, so that will work.........many resorts in this area fit your criteria...............click on the blue link for all the information you'll need to find the perfect resort

Hi saleleanor, congratulations on your upcoming marriage, and lucky you living in one of the UKs "best kept secret" places to live. (I lived in Lincolnshire for 14 years, and often wish I never had to leave)

Go somewhere that also a "best kept secret" destination.

Malawi has been listed as one of Lonely Planets 10 must visit places for 2014.

Still little known, with nothing like the number of tourists that their big neighbours have.

Beautiful unspoiled beaches on stunning lake Malawi, small intimate lodges (who wants to spend a honeymoon in large hotels with hundreds of other holidaymakers!).

Air fare will be around £1400, leaving £2600 for your lodge/food/drinks

As an example look at Nanchengwa Lodge, http://www.nanchengwalodge.com/ Here you have simple but comfortable accommodation. Food is first class. Have a beach house, literally on the beach, away from the main lodge. B&B $64 for two, meals around $10-!5 ea. Within your budget you will be able to take a "taster" safari to Liwonde National Park, on the Shire river, or Majete NP, other trips for a few dollars. Nanchengwa will transfer you from the airport to the lake and back. Drinks are very reasonable prices. Lake is fresh water, warm and crystal clear. Take a canoe and explore. No visa fees, (free for UK passport) park fees no more than $20.

If you had a bigger budget, Danforth Yachting, http://www.danforthyachting.com/

http://www.mumboisland.com/ http://normancarrcottage.com/ http://www.kayamawa.com/ http://www.namizimu.com/ http://www.buariverlodge.com/ For a view of Malawi see on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUTeCv0_5us

The people are incredibly friendly. Malawi is not called "The warm heart of Africa" for nothing!

There IS one caveat, Malawi (and the people) can take over your heart, some visit once, and end up going time and time again, (I did!) some never leave. (Two of my friends returned there to be buried when they knew their time was up).

If you want more info, use the personal mail facility or see me on the Malawi forum

Hi

You may also want to consider Punta Cana which has several laid back AO / AI resorts

If you check out my reviews you will find several for properties in PC as well as Mexico all of which have links to large photo albums which should give you a great feel for the properties

Feel free to send me a PM with any questions

You could consider Mauritius, its summer then and you could go to the east coast and have an AI stay in a hotel such as the Long Beach. More exclusive hotels such as The Four Seasons, Maradiva are also available.
