best pace to visit in india in july

Many parts of India will be receiving heavy rainfall in the month of july. Which place in india will be the best place to visit in the 1st week of july where there will be little or no rainfall?

July is actually a good time to visit India and enjoy rains. Trying to avoid Monsoon showers is not really fun. You can try to visit several himalyan destinations in India such as Shimla, Manali, Nainital, Srinagar, Leh.

If you want to avoid rain, you can go to Leh/Laddak, it does not get too wet out there. One of the best places to enjoy a cold desert, and its open for a few summer months only. You have very scenic lakes, rivers, mountain passes, glaciers to enjoy along with many budhist temples, small villages and of course army posts.

There are direct flights to Leh from Delhi, and there is good tourist infrastructure.

Happy travels
