I will be traveling through South America for 8 weeks and need a backpack that also rolls. Does anyone have any suggestions ? The only ones I can find are by High Sierra ,Osprey and Rei

If you look in the FAQ section on the right of the screen there is a topic about luggage and in there is a section called 'backpacks with wheels' where you might find some answers to your questions.

we have sierra rollpack w/removable day pack and love ours. I hardly carry it as a pack tho. great to put main part in overhead bin and keep the day pack by my feet on long-haul flights

I'm always surprised how much this bag holds--very deceptive

I posted a similar question to yours a few months ago and have actually just logged on to update it, as some posters asked me to. I ended up buying a Caribee Fast track and have just come back home after using it for 4 weeks in London and Italy. I have to say that I love it! I didn't use it as a back pack very much, but it was quite comfortable when I did. As a roller-bag it was great - very stable, easy to pull along and plenty of room (I bought the 75Litre) . My husband who persisted with a regular backpack was quite envious of mine!
