Jewelry all tangled up

What products are out there to travel with jewelry so it doesn't get tangled and its easy to pack and can fit in a purse or briefcase?

Neck chains can be slotted through a drinking straw and I find putting ear studs through a button stops them getting lost. Cheap and easy!

Take card stock and cut slots to use to wrap necklaces around - you can cut a slot or a gap.

Or - even easier really - go to your local craft shop or go on ebay and get some of the small zip bags used for jewelry etc. See

You can get smaller ones on ebay. Or take a look at the bead storage systems - some are small containers that fit into a larger container.

Hope this helps

You could put each piece in a small organza bag with drawstring. Just search for 'small organza bag' on Ebay, there are plenty of inexpensive ones available from Asia usually. They are very lightweight.

I use a jewellery wallet (lightweight) which was available at Avon, but that was a couple of years ago. It is brilliant, has zippered compartments, bands of slots for earrings etc. May be worth a try, but I think it was just a promotion at that time.

if you find fine chains tangle and knot, spray wd40 on a cotton pad and run it the length of the chains before packing.

Also make sure you fasten chains and bracelets.

Thanks for the ideas but they sound like I need to make something myself. I don't have alot of time on my hands. I just found a really cool one called a blingzy at www.blingzy.com. It also helps women who were victims of human trafficking so I bought 2. I hope it works.
