Euro Tunnel.

We are planning to drive back to England from southern Spain at Christmas and are not sure how long it will take us to get to the Euro tunnel in Calais, so what I need to know is can you purchase a ticket at the Tunnel itself and if it is the same price at the tunnel for a ticket as the price shown on the internet. Thanks.

You can buy one there, and it will be more expensive than if bought in advance.

As well as the price difference there could be issues about availability at a peak travel time near Christmas.

On the spot ticket will always be more expensive than those bought on the internet in advance. also beware limited availability or high demand around the Christmas period.

We have booked for crossings at a certain time in advance, but turned up early and been put on an earlier train if there is a ability before now.
