Sink Hole at National Corvette Museum

If anyone was planning on driving to the National Corvette Museum, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, you might be in for a little disappointment. A sink hole formed under one part of the museum, swallowing 8 cars, including the 1,000,000th Corvette.

Part of the museum has re-opened, but it might be wise to call in advance of your visit.

I saw that on the news last night. We really enjoyed visiting the museum several years ago.

Gosh, what a story! Hope the cars get recovered OK. Passed me by here, our news is swamped (sorry, couldn't resist) with tales of woe from our flooding, so those little stories from elsewhere are notably absent! The sink hole stories in these parts are all about one on one of our major motorways. Could also swallow a car or two!

Yeah, it seems our government had to eat humble pie and call in the Dutch engineers. They brought the biggest pumps ever used and are pumping water back into the sea.

Apparently Harry and William did a 10 hours shift yesterday along side our army. When the TV cameras tried to get a sound bite, the response was 'why don't you join in and lend a hand, too' or similar!

SWT Towers is fine, we're on a slope, but the water all around us is amazing to see.

It's terrible about the Corvettes, but I do believe you should make lemonade if you got lemons. I think they should open the Sinkhole Museum.
