2 nights in Cody. Then heading towards the Grand Canyon. Need to stay one night on the way. Have 2 nights at Tersay. Any suggestions

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure what Deadwod to Cody has to do with this. Between Cody and Grand Canyon is at least 2 very long days of driving. Just past Salt Lake City will be half way. Not sure what Tersay is. Do you mean Tusayan?

If your plan is to ride into Yellowstone using Cody as a base, I would spend the night in Cody, ride & tour in Yellowstone & through the Grand Tetons, spend the night in Jackson then head down to the Grand Canyon. Cody is 2 hours from the grand circle in Yellowstone so really too far to use as a Yellowstone base.

I wouldn't want to be driving on a motorcycle after dark in the area with the huge, dark & darting animals.

But perhaps you are skipping Yellowstone??!!

Yes, thoght that too Denalicat but the OP only is mentioning GC. And Jackson to GC will be far too long for a one days drive.
