It's getting close for our 10th road trip on the Harley! This time from Colorado to Laughlin, Nevada for the River Rally and then on to Tucson. We leave on the 23rd of this month and have till the 5th of May. We will go as a group to Laughlin, we have made this trip many times, then we will go alone on to Tucson with a short one nite in Lake Havasu to visit sister. Our plan is to head out of Lake Havasu with a general southern route, possible on hiway 95 to Yuma and then start to find scenic byways along the way to Tucson, We are most interested in smaller towns, historic area's and scenery. We will want to go no reservation's for rooms and likely stay in mid-range 100-125$ per nite hotels. Prefer Choice Hotel 's We hope to stay in towns along the way with a hope of nite-life and foodie type places (Mom & Pop) . The goal in Tuccon is to go to the Ted DeGrazia Gallery. We will likely try and position ourselve's to the I-25 in New Mexico on the way back and spend some time in the Santa Fe area. Expert's out there any idea's of not to miss places?
