What kind of luggage is everyone taking?

Just wondering what kind of luggage everybody is taking to the World Cup? Im going to try travelling quite light so was thinking a medium sized hiking bag. As I dont really want to be lugging a big bulky duffelbag or suitcase around. However after reading various forums, backpacks dont seem to be recommended (pickpockets etc.)

I have a hybrid backpack with wheels on it. Rather large, but I'm spending 2 months going around the entire continent. Don't worry about pick pockets, just use padlocks and be smart

Same backpack I bring on every trip:

I'm down there a month, so going with my long term packing rule, pack one weeks worth of clothes and do laundry, I also bring older clothes to leave there, so I have more room for souvenirs or whatever on the way back.

I do and will be doing the same. About a weeks worth of clothes, do laundry by hand (not sure if my place has washer) and throw away a lot of stuff, mostly socks and undershirts. My clothes is heavier a week for me is like 2 weight wise for others so I have to be practical. Organize it all in packing cubes and I'm good to go.
