Travelling with oxygen support

My mother has severe emphysema and needs to travel Perth to Melbourne shortly. She has to travel with oxygen, and can only walk a few paces at a time before needing to sit down. Will be flying QANTAS (FF points) and I will be going with her. Does anyone know what services are available from QANTAS for such travellers?

There are a number of services offered on their website.

qantas.com.au/travel/…en

I would think you would need to notify the airline and arrange for specific services.

Thanks so much. I suspected this would be my best bet. I'll give them a call.

My husband uses a oxygen concentrator on continuous flow. Has anyone travelled from Canada to Europe with their concentrator and how many batteries did you need.
