Fiji with 17 month old

We are travelling to fiji with our 17 month old staying at Hideaway resort and Malolo island.

After any tips on purchasing bottled water to take to the island, where can you get large bottle from to make it cheaper then buying from the resorts and also milk. Am I best to take UHT milk from Australia? If so can you take the UHT poppers in your checked luggage?

Any other advice or tips when travelling with a toddler would be greatly appreciated.

Your driver will be happy to stop at one of the markets in Nadi before heading to Hideaway/Malolo for bottled water soft drinks, alcohol, and UHT milk. Take some snacks: chips, cracker, cereal, etc. in your checked luggage. Will be cheaper than purchasing them in Fiji. Be sure declare any food items you take with you.

Have a look at the following for other suggestions on what to take with you.

We don't have kids so can't offer advice. Suggest you post on the Fiji forum. Lots of helpful people who will be able to answer any questions you have.

Hope this helps.
